Laundry Scent Booster
1 Man, 3 Balls, and a Dream.
Hey y'all! My name is Alex and my journey to having the best smelling balls was sort of an accident, sort of on purpose. After graduating college in data science, I got a full time job to help fund my entrepreneurial endeavors. I knew working 40+ years in corporate America was not the path for me, so I kept a small booklet of all the ideas I had during college and referenced them to come up with a business. While working on my 2nd business (the first failed and this one, unbeknownst to me, would also fail), I was perusing my local target for laundry supplies, it hit me: All these scents sucked. "Fresh Linen" this and "Tropical Breeze" that. I saw an opportunity...
3rd time is the charm.
I stopped the second business and got started on the 3rd idea: a laundry products brand. It had to have a unique product and a catchy slogan. I saw that dryer balls were up and coming back in 2023-2024, and I knew I had to do some slogan with the word "balls". It was too good to pass up. After a year of experimenting and getting my bearings, I created a sort of wool dryer ball / dryer sheet hybrid...

Best. Smelling. Balls. Period.
By combining dryer balls, a plant-based softener, and fragrance, I'd say I've created the Best Smelling Balls, at least in Marion/Cedar Rapids, Iowa. The plant based softener helps stop static and wrinkles (last around 6 months on avg), makes clothes soft to the touch, and the fragrance (toxin free) leaves a scent that will make your whole wardrobe smelling amazing. Paired with the laundry soap, your laundry stops being a chore and becomes an experience to look forward to.
Where we're going
So far Beau Laundry Co. is in New-Pioneer Co-Op and Hy-Vee, and is looking to expand operations by hiring a team and building out manufacturing. I am open to investments, advice, and collaborations. Lifes too short to stop learning and I think it's more about the journey than the destination.
